The music on our website is created by people, drawing on their experiences. This is what makes each song special and unique. We firmly believe that technology cannot capture the feelings and depth of the human experience essential to imparting the proper emotion through music.
However, we use AI as a tool on our website to help our clients by improving their experience of sourcing and licensing music. Our Find Similar AI tool allows users to find one of our tracks that sounds like something else. Paste a link from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, or any other platform to our site; then you’ll see a list of similar-sounding tracks from our library.
We also use AI to help us accurately tag keys, BPM and whether a version contains vocals, which allows users to maximize their searches and find exactly what they’re looking for. We also have an AI-powered chatbot called WomBot on our website, which helps users answer questions ranging from prompts like “What is the email address for the UK office?” to “Help me find a pop song with female vocals and a strong synth part.”
AI is an inescapable part of life, and at West One Music, we believe in embracing new technology. However, we believe in discerning how and where to integrate this new technology into the creative process.
