DAVID BUCKLEY

David is a British, Emmy-nominated composer living in Los Angeles.

He recently completed Nobody for Universal Studios and Wheel of Time for Sony/Amazon. He has also written additional music for Wonder Woman, all the Fifty Shades movies, Shrek The Third, Big Eyes, and American Hustle.

He scored Angel Has Fallen, Greenland, the remake of Papillon, Jason Bourne, The Nice Guys, the Joel Schumacher-directed thriller Blood Creek, Ben Affleck’s crime drama The Town, Taylor Hackford’s action feature Parker, and Rob Minkoff’s fantasy adventure, The Forbidden Kingdom.

For television, David composed the music for the hit Scott Free/CBS drama series The Good Wife and scored the spin-off, The Good Fight. He was also the composer for Mercy Street for PBS, BrainDead for CBS and The Gifted for Marvel/FOX, Evil for CBS and The Stranger for Netflix.

He has written the music for a number of video games, including the Warner Bros/Rocksteady game Batman Arkham Knight and Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, for which he received a TEC Award.

David was honoured as a “Brit to Watch” by BAFTA and has been the recipient of numerous BMI Awards.
