EMER LANDERS
Emer is an Irish composer with experience in composing for film, television and video games.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Music, her career highlights include working for video game company Bigpoint Inc. San Francisco, having her work performed in the National Portrait Gallery in London, and winning 3rd prize in the International Pannonia Film Music Competition 2020.
In 2016 she joined the BAFTA Crew scheme for emerging talent in film and television. She works as a tutor with Thinkspace Education delivering their online accredited Masters courses worldwide, and was appointed to the Peer Panel of the Arts Council of Ireland in 2021.
She is passionate about composing unique instrumental scores. Recent releases include the score for short film “Bach Is Blue” which premiered at Latitude Festival in 2021. Her original score for Liberty Video’s “Forever Hold Your Peace” earned a nomination in the “Best Score” category at the 13th Underground Film Awards 2022.
She is currently developing an original album and musical theatre project, both of which received funding from the Arts Council of Ireland.
